How to earn xools, what they are for, what creates and what spends them, why the reserve is capped, and what they can never be used to buy on the platform.
An internal network contribution unit. The accounting reserve is capped at 1,000,000 ⓧ and every distribution is publicly tracked. A xool is not a cryptocurrency, an investment or a financial right.
It has no monetary value, cannot be purchased and carries no promise of future conversion. The catalog only shows how many internal xools unlock a Xoolink benefit.
Two counters move. Your contribution badge (Bronze → Platinum) rises with ALL your actions: inviting an expert, activating a pack, signing and honoring pacts, completing your profile. Your spendable balance fills up from gains the network can verify: the 60 ⓧ welcome for your 4 first steps, referrals (+6 ⓧ when your referee verifies their email), completing your profile, and the xools Digitaline awards on your posts. (Pack/pact gains feed the badge, not the balance.)
Your contribution reputation, based on lifetime xools earned (it never drops): Start, then Bronze (100), Silver (250), Gold (500), Platinum (1,000). Each tier is a badge shown on your profile and in the directory. It’s INDEPENDENT of your plan (Base/Alpha) and of your current balance.
A feed circle reserved for members who STAKE. On the Rewards page, if you hold at least 90 xools, you can activate your stake: you become a Xoolector, a “🏔️ Circle” tab appears in the feed, and you post and read publications reserved for other Xoolectors. It’s a choice, never automatic — and you can release the stake at any time (you then leave the circle).
Activating the stake locks 90 xools — they remain yours, but can’t be spent while it’s active (the surplus stays 100% liquid). In exchange: access to the circle, and your crocs 🐺 accumulating continuously (≈ 2.4 per day) — a resource distinct from xools, which you keep even after releasing the stake. Small anti-abuse safeguards: 1 ⓧ to activate, 3 ⓧ to release, and a 24 h minimum period before you can release (looping in and out shouldn’t be free). Without a stake, no restriction: your whole balance is free.
The Circle’s governance. Each edition — one month — concrete motions are put to the Xoolectors. They come from three sources: Circle members (filing a proposal costs 3 crocs, supporting one costs 1 croc; the team reviews, the five most supported enter the next edition), the network itself (the gap of the month, a real organization’s spotlight, an open need to back — derived from data, renewed on their own) and the team. At closing, Digitaline publishes the results in the feed and the next edition opens as soon as it has enough matter. Xoolectors vote by SPENDING their crocs 🐺 — quadratic cost: 1 voice = 1 croc, 2 voices = 4, 3 voices = 9, capped at 3 voices per motion. Crocs are non-transferable and can’t be bought: a voice is earned through commitment (the stake), never through a credit card. Votes are final and tallies are public. Your lifetime crocs never go down — weighing in at the Council draws from a separate counter.
It acts, automatically and for one edition (thirty days). The spotlight: the chosen organization moves to the top of the directory’s organic results, marked “Chosen by the Circle” — never in the sponsored strip; one is bought, the other is earned. The cause: if the need is still open, every Xoolector receives a targeted invitation and the 48-hour engine widens its invitations without waiting; the need’s public page reads “Backed by the Circle”. The gap of the month: Digitaline relays the call to partner networks and the expertise appears as “sought by the Circle” on the expertise map. An adopted member proposal has no automatic effect: the team answers publicly in the feed within fifteen days. No effect ever touches money or tiers; Digitaline announces each effect at closing.
The power to say no. Once per edition, the Circle can ask to WITHDRAW a product automation — the weekly digest, Digitaline’s spontaneous interventions, the automatic call for missing expertise, announcing needs on Discord — or to RESTORE one already withdrawn. The list is closed: no money, no security, no moderation, no legal matters. The bar is higher than for an ordinary motion: withdrawing or restoring requires 60% of votes and at least 5 voters; otherwise the current state is kept. A counter-motion is filed like any proposal (3 crocs) and supported the same way; if several are retained, only the most supported enters the edition. A withdrawal is reversible by an opposite counter-motion.
Redeem them for Alpha months, profile skins or extra AI compositions. You can also send them to another member as a tip. No use of xools changes the ranking of people or organizations.
