Electronic signature with Yousign beta
Add legal proof to a pact already accepted inside Xoolink, without confusing the two steps.
Two complementary proofs. The Xoolink pact records the pack's consent and commitments. Yousign then signs the legal document. Xoolink sends nothing to Yousign before the internal pact is sealed.
1. Prepare Yousign
- In Yousign ↗, open Integrations → API, start the API trial if needed, then create a key in the Sandbox environment.
- Create a document template containing named, unique signer placeholders — for example
signer_1andsigner_2. - Note the template's UUID and the exact order of its labels. The number of labels must match the number of members positioned in the pack.
2. Connect the organization
- In Xoolink, open the lead organization's page, then Admin dashboard → Electronic signature.
- Choose the environment, then enter the API key, the template identifier and the labels in order.
- Copy the webhook URL and secret immediately. The secret is shown only once.
- In Yousign, create a webhook to that URL, use that secret, and subscribe it to signature-request and signer events.
- Return to Xoolink and choose Test.
3. Send a pact
Once every positioned member has signed the Xoolink pact and the lead has sealed it, a Yousign block appears in the pack's space. Only the lead can start the send. Xoolink checks the number of signers, their full name and their email address before creating and then activating the request.
Security and billing
- The API key and webhook secret are encrypted inside Xoolink with
INTEGRATIONS_MASTER_KEY. - Disconnecting Yousign deletes the encrypted key and secret from Xoolink; requests already sent remain in the Yousign account.
- Incoming webhooks are verified by HMAC SHA-256 and deduplicated.
- Connecting is reserved to Alpha and Clan organizations. Signers need no paid Xoolink plan.
- The subscription and signature credits are provided and billed separately by Yousign.
- Start in Sandbox. Move to Production only after a full test with a template that carries no legal value.
